QRP Mobile from my AM General 1972 M151 Viet Nam MUTT

Recently, I have recovered my old Icom IC-706MKIIG radio, thanks to Jim KF7E (FOC #for giving me a replacement front panel.! I use to bring this small radio with me when I was traveling to Australia, South Africa and Swaziland. Its a great radio and now serves me as QRP mobile.

Also, big thanks to Cie G0TRT (CWOps #3429) for sending me the CAT and CW cables to use with DXlog,

so, someday I will operate a CWT QRP and the M151.!

I have set the radio to 5W and I operate sometimes from my home station, specially in the CWTs 13z and 07z.

The antenna in the MUTT is a military vertical cut for 20m band. I also have a 20m Delta Loop.

My plan is to go with the M151 somewhere around, and operate QRP with a vertical installed in the MUTT.

I have a small solar panel that can charge the battery while operating.
